ANNA BUKHAREVA

Cossack, based in Miami
Anna Bukhareva is a Miami-based artist whose expressive oil and watercolor paintings celebrate sensuality and primal energy. With a master's degree in Visual Development
and a background in sociology and psychotery, Anna's deep curiosity about human nature and society structure has been a constant driving force in her artistic practice. She sees her canvas as an ode to sensuality, an antidote to pretense, and a primal force that can illuminate the darkest crevasses of our most vulnerable parts. Anna's favorite mediums, oil and watercolor, offer unique connections with the earth and primal nature. Oil paints, with their natural ingredients, allow her to express dark, heavy emotions hidden behind layers. In contrast, watercolors offer just an impression, leaving plenty of room for imagination. Her artistic process involves walking the line between intuition and forethought, culminating in life-affirming ecstasy. Anna has also participated in charity art auctions, using her talent to give back to her community.
